Pelantikan Rektor President University 2024 – 2028

Rabu 31 Januari 2024 merupakan hari yang bersejarah bagi seluruh keluarga President University Foundation, karena pada hari ini salah satu unitnya yakni President University mengadakan acara pelantikan Rektor baru untuk masa jabatan 2024 – 2028. Sebelumnya President University dipimpin oleh Prof. Dr. Chairy dan sekarang dilanjutkan oleh Dr. Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M, Ph.D. Acara berlangsung di Auditorium Charles Himawan Gedung A lantai 5. Acara pelantikan kali ini dihadiri oleh Dr. S.D. Darmono selaku Chairman Jababeka Group dan sebagai pendiri President University, selain itu hadir Ketua Yayasan Pendidikan Universitas Presiden Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji serta jajaran petinggi lainnya seperti Sekertaris Yayasan Prof. Dr. Jony Oktavian Haryanto & Bendahara Yayasan Justin Endramukti. Selain dihadiri oleh Pengurus Yayasan Pendidikan Universitas Presiden, pada acara ini dihadiri juga oleh tamu-tamu penting dari Jababeka Group dan Ketua Dewan Pengawas YPUP Dr. Drs. Chandra Setiawan, , Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi (2010-2012) MM, Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Ir. Joko Santoso dan Rektor ITB (2005-2010), yang bersama dengan Ibnu Hadi, M.Ec yang merupakan Duta Besar RI untuk Vietnam (2016-2020), dan Abdul Wahid Maktub, Duta Besar RI untuk Qatar (2003-2007), selaku penasihat Rektor President University. Hadir juga tamu undangan pelantikan rektor President University yakni telah hadir Prof. Stephen G. Barnes, profesor hukum dari Pennsylvania State University, Amerika Serikat, mantan Rektor President University dan pengurus YPUP, mitra-mitra bisnis President University, para alumni, serta tamu-tamu lainnya. Open House President School 2023

President School Units On September 16, 2023, President School held an Open House event to welcome the 2023/2024 academic year. This event was held by the President School Units, that’s Prsident Special Needs Center (PSNC) , Kindergarten, Elementary School and President Junior High School. The event was also attended by President University Foundation Secretary Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto & President Foundation Treasurer Justin Endramukti. The event began with a marching band from President High School and after that the opening was accompanied by singing the Indonesia Raya song. After that, the event continued with remarks from Prof. Jony Oktavian Haryanto. Open House event attracts a lot of excitement by performances from President school students. some performed dance, singing, ballet, taekwondo, and marching band. This event also presented a food & beverage bazaar from the president school for anyone who attended. For those who are curious about the president school info can visit the registration booth that has been prepared. The customer service or marketer will be handle parents question. Purposes Open House Open House event is an introduction to President School for parents who are about to enroll their children in the school. President School is an educational institution from PSNC for children with special needs, kindergarten, even up to university. Opening Ceremony President Senior High School

Opening Ceremony of President Senior High School (SMA Presiden) Batch XX

September 12th 2023, President Senior High School held the opening ceremony of batch 20 at President University Convention Center. The lively event was attended by new batch 2023 students, parents, teachers, principals, and directors of President School. This event was not only a celebration as well as the beginning of the educational journey of new students, but also a historical moment that confirmed the existence of this school in building a more brilliant future. The opening of Batch 20 began with a flag-raising ceremony and a meaningful singing of the national anthem. This is a moment that reminds us of our responsibility as citizens who have an important role in nation building. Next was a speech from the Principal of President High School (Boarding School) Mr. Endang Hariyanto Rosyidi, S.Pd., M.Pd. The next event was the symbolic wearing of the President Senior High School alma mater by Mrs. Justin Endramukti as Treasurer of President University Foundation & Director of President School to new students. The event was celebrated by the marching band of Presidenta Lokananta High School with its solid & exciting attraction. In addition to the marching band, there was also a performance of President High School students performing West Java regional dance. The show was also enlivened by vocal groups & band performances from President Senior High School students. The event was closed by dancing with the students of President Senior High School.

Faculty of Medicine President University is Open

President University in the 2023/2024 academic year opened a faculty of medicine. The faculty of medicine has two undergraduate medical programs and a medical professional program. The opening of the Faculty of Medicine of President University is based on the decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 689/E/O/2023 on August 22, 2023. Press Conference attended by the Rector of President University, Chairman of President University Foundation, Dean of Faculty of Medicine President University. As the rector of President University Prof. Dr. Ir. Chairy, S.E., M.M said that, with the presence of the Faculty of Medicine, it can contribute to the lack of doctors in Indonesia and the even distribution of doctors to all regions. In addition, the current issue is about occupational safety & health. Meanwhile, President University is located in the largest industrial area in Southeast Asia. The location in the industrial area can have a positive impact on President University medical graduates. One of them opens up job opportunities for medical graduates. TK Presiden & SD Presiden Graduation

On May 25, President Kindergarten & President Elementary School under the President University Foundation held a graduation ceremony of class 2023. The graduation ceremony was held at the Java Palace Hotel Ballroom, Jababeka, North Cikarang, Bekasi. Graduation ceremony of class 2023 for President Kindergarten Batch VII & President Elementary School Batch III had the theme “Together We Achieve Our Dreams and Future”. The graduation ceremony was attended by Mrs. Justin Endramukti as the treasurer of the President University Education Foundation. The event was opened by a speech from the Head of President Kindergarten, Mrs. Yeni Indrasari, followed by the Head of President Elementary School, Mr. Yayan Mulyana. Then, the graduating students entered the stage to get a graduation ceremony from the Heads of Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Treasury of the President University Foundation. Apart from the awarding of medals & certificates to the graduating students of Presidential Kindergarten & Elementary School, the event was also enlivened by art performances that entertained the parents who attended the event. The Presidential Kindergarten & Elementary School graduation celebration is organized for appreciation and honor for the students who have been studying in Presidential Kindergarten & Elementary School. 10 students pass IISMA 2023 again, proving that PresUniv is an international standard University

Through the Indonesia International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2023 program run by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, several President University (Presuniv) students once more had the chance to take part in lecture activities abroad. These students will all attend lectures at prestigious universities in Australia, Europe, and the US. There are 10 students enrolled in the IISMA selection this year, This Year we have four students who enrolled IISMA program in Europe. There are Jason Nathanael from the Actuarial Study Program class of 2020, who will go to the University of Padua, Italy, and Kevin Saputra Gome Wijaya, class of 2021, who will study at the Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. Both members of the Management Study Program class of 2021, Yolanda Anta Rizkia Wicaksono and Nesya Elmaira, will participate in the IISMA program in Russia and England. There is Daniel Rinaldi Frederick Ismael from the Faculty of Computer’s 2020 Visual Communication Design Study Program class, who will attend the University of Warsaw in Poland. Rayhan Rifqi Aldinovandi, a member of the Information Technology (IT) Study Program class of 2021 who will be enrolled in the IISMA program at Michigan State University in the US. Halal Bihalal at President University Foundation

In the event of Eid al-Fitr 2023, the entire family of President University Foundation held a Halal Bihalal event on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, Building A, President University Campus. The Halal Bihalal event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji as chairman of President University Foundation, Management, Rectors & Vice Rectors of President University as well as lecturers and all employees . This year’s Halal Bihalal event carries the theme “Return to Fitrah”. The event began with the recitation of the holy Quran verses, in Surah Al Hujarat verses 11-13 and their meanings which were read by Qori . Furthermore, a speech from B.M.A.S Anaconda Bangkara as the event committee, the next speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA. as Chairman of the President University Foundation. He delivered what was read by Qori by quoting Al Hujarat 11, that “Do not make fun of each other, not necessarily the one you make fun of is worse than you, and not necessarily you are better than the person you make fun of.” – The next event was a spiritual lecture by Dr. Muhammad AS Hikam, APU as a senior lecturer at President University, who said that the gathering was a place to implement “Ukhuwah islamiyah & Ukhuwah wathaniyah” for everyone at President University Foundation.
